The Beta AR membrane jacket is one of the most versatile pieces in Arcteryx’s collection. Designed for mountain hiking, climbing or skydiving. The jacket protects against soaking during walking in the rain. Ideal piece for a rainy weather but also for everyday use.
A special feature of the jacket is its high resistance to damage. Thanks to the use of the latest variety of GORE-TEX® Pro Most Rugged membrane, the three-layer laminate of the Beta AR model is characterized by high resistance to all kinds of abrasion and tearing. The areas most vulnerable to damage have been reinforced with a higher-density weave fabric.
The GORE-TEX® Pro membrane also provides protection against rain, snow and blowing wind. Thanks to its microporous structure, it efficiently wicks away moisture that forms on the surface of the skin during exercise.
Waterproof zippers, a hood that accommodates a helmet, a special belt compatible with climbing harnesses, and expandable underarm vents. Built-in RECCO headlamp RECCO, which in an emergency situation will help rescuers find you under the avalanche.
